What is a Mother's Help's role?
Duties
A Mother’s Help assists mother or father in
caring for the children and in carrying out domestic
duties.
- This is generally a supervised role although, on
occasion, she/he may be left in charge of the children
for brief periods of time.
- Some Mother’s Helps are experienced but for most,
this role prepares them for work as a Nanny in the
future.
- She/he can live in or live out and work full or part
time.
Rates of Pay
Salaries range from £200-250 net per
week live in and £8 net per hour live out.
