What is a Nanny's role?
A Nanny’s primary duty is to care for the children;
work is normally unsupervised. We, at Hampstead Nannies,
take pride in making sure our Nannies not only look after
their charges in a safe and happy atmosphere, but also
create an environment whereby the children are
intellectually and educationally stimulated, thus
fulfilling their potential.
Domestic tasks (nursery duties)
These are generally
related to the children and can include:
• keeping the children’s rooms and play areas clean and
tidy
• washing and ironing
• cooking their meals
• homework supervision
• school runs.
She/he can live in or live out and work full or part time.
Rates of Pay
Salaries range from £250 net upwards
per week live in and from £9 net per hour live out. A Nanny
may or may not be qualified, but will have to demonstrate
at least 2 years’ professional experience.
