New nanny role for boy 12 and girl 10 years old.

· The key points are for someone who is safe, reliable, warm to the children, pro active, very organised and a good and safe driver.

· They would like someone who has been a nanny before and ideally been in a role for at least a year.

· Role includes: picking up children from school during term time (driving their own car, an automatic), cooking healthy meals, washing / ironing their clothes, tidying/cleaning their rooms, making sure the kitchen/living room is clean and tidy after their use, running errands, unpacking food delivery, other basic housekeeping duties

· Ideally in addition: occasional babysitting eg once a fortnight, by mutual agreement

· Hours: Term time (approx. 33 weeks):

Monday-Thurs 14:00-19:30 (can be a later start), Fri 13:30-19:00 (can be a later start) = 5.5 hours x 5 days = 27.5 hours pw = 907.5 hours per year

Holiday time (approx. 19 weeks):

Mondays and Thursdays: 12:30-18:30; Tuesday and Wednesdays: 08:30-18:30 (no work on Fridays) = 32 hours per week = 608 hours per year

NB they have some flexibility with these holiday hours

So total = 1,515.5 hours per year (average of 29 hours per week). It can be fewer hours if preferred.

Salary: £34,500+ gross

· Other key points:

Hours: potential flexibility - for example, they may be able to manage with just term time hours throughout the year. Salary would be reduced based on hours worked and hourly rate. They are very keen to get the right candidate so there is some flexibility in this respect.
