Part time Nanny required in Stoke Newington

Returning clients are once again looking for a Nanny for their daughter who is now coming up to 12 months at the end of May. She has gone into nursery on a full time basis over the last few weeks but they are wondering if this transition has not in fact been a bit quick for her and are considering moving down to 3 days a week at the nursery.

With that in mind, they are looking for candidates for a part-time, live-out nanny position. They are based in Stoke Newington.

 Key details would be:

- Start date: TBC

- Schedule: 2 days per week, approximately 7:30am–6:30pm (ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, though they may have some flexibility)

- Additional hours (optional): One nursery pick-up per week (around 4/5pm–6:30pm)

- Location: Stoke Newington (nursery is a 5-minute walk from their home)

Role:

- Sole charge care (they may occasionally work from home, but this would not be the norm and would not really mean that they could dual-care in any event)

- Supporting early development (e.g. early walking, first words, age-appropriate activities)

- Following an established routine aligned with nursery

Nanny profile:

- They would prefer someone female, experienced and ideally a qualified/career nanny

- Warm, calm and caring approach; not overly disciplinary or loud

- Confident supporting development while allowing space for independent exploration

- fluent in English

Practical considerations:

- No driving required but on-street parking available if the nanny prefers to drive

- Local candidates preferred – Stoke Newington isn’t the most easily accessible of places and they are a little nervous that people will express interest but become discouraged if they have lengthy commutes

Additional responsibilities:

- They would like someone able to assume other light household duties e.g.:

- 1–2 loads of laundry per week

- Changing bedsheets weekly

- Keeping the kitchen, child’s bedroom and play/living areas tidy and organised

They also have a cat so must be cat friendly person!

To start anytime. Salary DOE

Daily Nanny sought in Angel

New clients are looking to hire a nanny. It’s hopefully quite an attractive set-up: they have two funny and energetic girls (6 and 4) who are both at school during term time. Monday fro Friday 12.30 to 6.30 pm during term time but could extend the hours ( if you were to do some extra family cooking, PA duties etc) and make them 9-7 and provide extra babysitting then 8.30 to 6.30 pm during school holidays. They also require some holiday travel, mainly to Paris, the Riviera and a week in the Alps.

They live in a house with private garden on a quiet garden square near Angel. The girls’ school is a 20-minute walk away: they take them in the morning and the nanny picks them up in the afternoon, plays with them and gives them dinner and a shower in time for handover at bedtime.

They also employ a housekeeper 5 days a week, so the household duties are only immediately related to the children’s rooms, clothing etc. Both girls are keen eaters, so a good cook would be a big plus. No pets.

Salary £48- £60k gross a year depending on the hours. To start ASAP. Would you be interested?
