Daily Nanny wanted in High Street Kensington

We have a new role with old clients in a very sought after area in Kensington. They have a boy 9 years old who goes to school in Sloane Square and a girl 11 years who attends a school in Hammersmith.

Hours:

Monday 1:00pm-7:00 pm

Tuesday 2:00pm-8:30pm (there is a chance this late end might change and they will redistribute the hours somehow)

Wednesday 2:00pm-6:30pm

Thursday 2:00pm-6:30pm

Friday 10:00am -6:30pm

Every other Friday babysitting

30 hours and 36 hours weeks where there is babysitting so 33 on average

Alternative schedule if Friday is too long for a candidate:

Monday 12:00pm-7:00 pm

Tuesday 1:00pm-8:30 pm

Wednesday 1:00pm-6:30 pm

Thursday 1:00pm-6:30 pm

Friday 1:00pm-6:30pm

Every other Friday babysitting

30 hours and 36 hours weeks where there is babysitting so 33 on average

Always room for more babysitting if candidate wants. Also open to Saturday and Sunday (sometimes) if candidate open to it

Regarding school holidays, one of the children has 16.5 and the other has 19.5 but mum will need the nanny even when she has one at home so let’s say it is 19.5 weeks holiday of which they normally take 4 weeks’ holiday which means the nanny will need to do more hours during 15 weeks of the year.

For the 15 weeks holiday, its 9:30am-5:30pm (although that might vary slightly depending on what activity they do but it will be a full day) that's 40 hours a week plus babysitting every other Friday and additional babysitting if needed.

So 33 hours weekly on average during school and 40-46 hours weekly during 15 week school holidays.

Ideally, they would want to agree the holidays the nanny takes.

Duties include school runs for 1 of the children whilst mum does the other, children’s laundry, organising/tidying their rooms and clothes, overseeing their homework/music practice, ( they can do it all themselves - it’s just supervision and the odd printing etc ), cooking for the whole family ( they must be passionate about cooking ), taking children to and from activities and any extra PA duties at home.

To start January 2026. Up to £23 gross per hour.
