Working single mum with a 2.5 year old boy is for a nanny-housekeeper for 38-40 hours per week (Mon-Thu).
Hourly rate: £17 net.
Start date: Ideally 23rd February 2026 or early in March
The boy will start nursery in March, so, ideally, he’ll be in nursery at least half a day (Mon-Thu), so during that time mum expects the nanny-housekeeper to do the following:
-shopping
-cooking well-balanced and nutritious meals for both of them
-laundry, ironing for both of them
-dishes
-tidying/organising
-light cleaning
-in general household duties
For the boy:
-Doing the school runs (nursery is only 15 min walking distance from their home)
-Keeping him safe & secure, keeping him active and stimulated, being creative on games and playing with him, feeding him with home made meals outside of nursery hours
-Caring for the child when he is unwell (when he can’t go to nursery)
-Communicating with mum on all aspects of the care of the child
Nanny’s character:
-Clean, hygienic
-Tidy, organised
-Loving, caring, nurturing, sincere, dependable
-Initiative
-A good observer of the boy, someone who loves children and her job naturally
Extras:
-If she has experience in potty training, it’s a plus
-If she is keen on doing extra hours after work/Friday/weekend (with extra pay and in advance notice), it’s a plus
-If she has experience cooking with Thermomix or is willing to learn, it’s a plus
MUST have:
-DBS check
-Paediatric First Aid training
-Experience with toddlers
Definitely NO during working hours:
-Smoking
-Drinking
-Screen time
Attention:
-The house has security cameras (excluding bathrooms and toilets)
