Returning clients have once again sought our help in finding them Nanny for their adorable children, a boy 3 and girl 1. They have so far struggled to find a candidate whom they really love and wondered about changing strategy slightly to a longer term search for someone who would be interested in an after school nanny type role with term time / holiday hours. The start date could be any time from now until even next year as they have temporary help right now on a rolling basis.

In the future (once the eldest is at school and the youngest is at nursery) they will need someone who can:

- Work 2:30-7pm weekdays when the children are at nursery

- Work possibly 3 full days over the school holidays (ideally Tues, Wed, Thu)

- Drive (confidently, clean licence, using their big car)

- Cook really well

In terms of their character / other qualities, they’d really love someone who is:

- Local! So their commute is not long (unlikely to be late etc with train strikes), they are available for babysitting and happy for relatively early start (8am)

- Very calm, nurturing in their approach

- fun!

- Confident to arrange and supervise playdates

- Happy to accompany to activities (and supervise actively while there) e.g. soft play, football, gymnastics, swimming (must be happy to go in pool with youngest) etc

- confident in doing educational type activities, helping with homework

- confident / capable with two active children

- work really well with Mum and Dad who are home often (i.e. happy to do a mix of shared care sometimes and sole charge a lot of the time)

They are happy to pay well for someone who meets these criteria!
