To all nannies who are specialised in special needs (ADHD, severe dyslexia). We have a clients who are looking for some help with their 7 year old son - mainly after school and holidays and occasional overnights.
Here is a brief summary of the role:
4-8pm Mon to Fri, 32 weeks of the year (private school terms).
Full days, 20 weeks of the year. (half terms and holidays).
They have a full time housekeeper.
They have a Cocker Spaniel dog.
They live in a large 6 bed detached property with large garden.
5 mins from Kilburn tube station.
They need someone very very emotionally mature, experienced and unphased and KIND and LOVING who can get him into a calm routine. He’s just started a special ed school and will probably be there for 2-3 years before rejoining the mainstream school where he was until now.
Excellent rate of pay for the right candidate as they know they will probably need to ‘retain’ them during the term times. Gross salary per annum £65,000.
The boy has 3 older independent sisters aged 17, 16 and almost 13. The two oldest are boarding and the youngest will be boarding in one year. They will need occasional help with the youngest for the next 12 months though.
Ideally want someone who is open to doing overnights every now and then as they care for ageing parents and they need someone a bit flexible if they have to do visits (parents are in Devon / Canada).
Mum is not working at the moment. Dad works in the city but might be WFH on Fridays.
To start anytime!
